1. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT

As per national MENA calendar, the Ecole Primaire Privée:

Evangélique Excellence de Sabaribougou started back on Tuesday 15 September 2020.

Here are the official minutes

• No general meeting with the parents of the pupils because of Pétât (current national rules governing the health epidemic situation), but they have been seen individually when necessary..

• CEB gave us two boxes of soaps and 60 masks, 7 large buckets and 7 smaller ones for the washing of hands

2. PEDAGOGY

Thursday 1st October 2020, the students came, the first two days were put aside for the cleaning and preparation of the classrooms etc.

3rd October, CP1 pupils and one parent each came to get their school kits, in the school yard at 8am.

Same on Monday 5/10 at 3pm for the pupils of CP2, CE1, CE2, CM1 and CM2. On that day, some parents got to know the church and to give glory to God. Happy day!

7/10/2020. The teachers got all their didactic equipment.

The lessons started with the exam class: CM2 from 15/09, as the intervening period was used for some catching up work. All lessons had been stopped for the whole of the land since 13/03/2020 because of the pandemic. The other classes have joined in studying since 11/10/2020, whilst respecting all the barrier measures set out by the government.

We have continued to adhere to these measures well from then until today 17/04/2021, together with 4 level of performance controls per class, as well as 4 mock exams for the CM2 class.

Mr Jean Pierre DAHO, adviser to the school came after the first performance control to encourage the teachers and help them to find the best ways to help their pupils achieve better grades.

3. SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES

Praise be to God! The School is richly blessed, a pastor called GOGOHIRIBOU Atiéguiwé Samuel has been nominated by the Founder of the School as the Spiritual Director of the School, so the teachers and students greatly benefit from this appointment.

1. 20/12/2020 : the teachers had professional development on various modules concerning the spiritual education of the children

• The salvation of the child

• How to teach a biblical verse

• The vocation of the Christian teacher

A canvas of teaching of biblical verses has been produced and explained by the Pastor, 11 verses for this first phase.

2. Evaluation meetings as to how this knowledge is being acquired, and the effectiveness of the module.

3. Every last Wednesday of the month, recreational activities take place within the school: different games to help the holistic development of the pupils.

A competition is planned for the end of the school year, where the children who will best explain the meaning of the verses will get a prize.

4. VARIOUS

• 25/02/2021, the Inspector came and saw the good organisation and taking place of the Mock exam organised by the CEB.

• Meetings for the development of the teachers are in place in the school, coordinated by the pedagogical advisor to the écoles évangéliques de Lafiabougou Daho Jean Pierre. 2 have already happened:

• • • 24/02/2021: professional morality and professional conscience;

    • 31/03/2021 :solving of mathematical problems

• 28/04/2021 will have the conjugation of verbs in primary school as its theme.

• Moreover the School has had its deliveries of all equipment and foodstuffs, as per delivery paperwork evidence included.

CONCLUSION

We give thanks to God who has given us total support until now, thank you too to the founder as well as to all the partners who make major effort to help us.
